Saw her at Nottingham
- absolutely awesome! (Sorry Robert - after her your show was a bit of an anti-climax). I have never been so entertained. She has got to be the best blues guitarist there is - man or woman. PLEASE let me know all her UK tour dates - I want to catch her again! Many thanks,

Inspiring stuff...
Hello there, Last night I went along on my second visit to The Kashmere Club in
London, England where I have previously enjoyed a good night's music.
Having lived in London for 15 years I have gone to a fair few gigs,
clubs, and bars, and enjoyed a wealth of music, both listening and
producing it myself.
However, never in my 23 years have I been so mesmerized as I was last
night watching Melissa play some of her tracks. It was crazy! One minute
I had tears in my eyes listening to 'Together' (I think that's the
title), the next I was dancing along to a song which I could hardly
believe I was hearing. Melissa's intricate guitar textures and clever
use of delay pedals was something which quite literally has to be seen
to be believed. The mixture of funk, soul, and blues, coupled with the
experimental angle of the performance struck a chord with me....that
particular track was right up my street.
I look forward to hearing more music like this. Whether Melissa enjoys
commercial success (which she certainly deserves) or not doesn't matter
to me personally. I will never forget the moment when that tune
started....I couldn't believe it, I was tapping my friend's shoulder
saying, 'Is this for real?' ....
Thanks for letting me see your soul Melissa...it's beautiful.

A chance performance at Tir nA nOg
I had the luck of the Irish that night -stumbling upon genius.
Melissa
gave a heart stopping, riveting performance. When Melissa sings, the
world
stops to listen. I'm looking forward to enjoy your talent again soon.

"Are You Experienced"
As a fan of Melissa Reaves and her music I can say I've had so many great
times and experiences. I've seen her at bars, festivals, and cafe's. From NY
City, the Pocono Mountains, Asbury Park beach to Philadelphia and too many
more to list. Seeing her drive 12 hrs. for three songs shows how much she
loves and is dedicated to her music.
Seeing Melissa play Lilith Fair in her home state and being part of the day
was an awesome experience for a fan like me. Getting "Artist" passes and
being able to walk around freely back stage. How fucking cool is that!!!!!!?
Not only walk around but saying "Hello" to Sarah McLachlan and pet her dog,
sit in the side wings and watch The Pretenders perform, kick back while
Sheryl Crow does a sound check, chill out in Melissa's dressing room with an
ice cold beer that she just popped open for me, have a catered lunch and
dinner with other band and crew members. The list goes on and on. The high
point of my day was getting to see Melissa where she truly belongs the "main
stage." When Sarah McLachlan asked Melissa to sing, well needless to say
that's what she does best and that's what she did. Melissa captured
everybody's attention. People were asking "who is she, she's great?" I think
you are an awesome guitarist, singer, and lyricist. KEEP ON ROCKING and KEEP
IT FUNKY. It was a thrilling day. I want to say Thank You to Melissa and
Elizabeth for making it HAPPEN. You are both wonderful people.
That my fellow fans was a day I'll always cherish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Fan Tales"
I was sitting in Science class in 1984, and the new girl walked in. The seat
next to me was empty, so she asked if she could sit. She seemed really cool
not like some of the others I had to walk the same halls with.
We started passing notes and hit it off right away. Our notes were about how
lame the teachers and others students were and then we started talking
music..... That's when I knew I had found a kindred spirit! We wrote on and
on about Fleetwood Mac.
It was so unusual to find another die hard classic rock fan in the days of
Mr. Roboto and Wang Chung.
Melissa and I constantly ran into each other over the years. It was always
so fun to be around her. I really felt like she was a sister. We shared some
difficult times too. We have seen each other laugh and cry, sometimes both at
the same time. I will never forget when Melissa was playing at a pub in
downtown Boone, Apollo's I think it was, and she dedicated the Fleetwood Mac
song "Dreams" to me. I felt like an extraordinary person at that moment.
Thank you Melissa!
